Private or Open Pilates Classes for Children

Fun, challenging but achievable mat exercises using balls, bands, fitness circles and rollers. Sessions include stories, songs, music, games and exciting and motivating toys.

All programs are designed to improve posture, alignment, core, flexibility, coordination, balance, strength in upper and lower body and well being. We also focus on improving fine and gross motor skills, attention, concentration and emotional regulation.

Many of the sessions are taught through the Animals Move book; children copy the animals by bending, balancing, stretching and rolling.

Teen Pilates for Fitness & Well-being

A pilates workout for older children and teenagers focusing on strength, physically and emotionally.

Pilates is strength building, as well as being an important tool for managing stress and anxiety. We will incorporate well-being, mindfulness alongside posture, flexibility, balance and coordination. The exercises are designed to improve core stability and upper and lower body strength but they will also help to improve moods too!

"My child loves coming to motor moves. He has loads of fun strengthening his muscles like a superhero with toys, games, songs and stories! He has no idea he is secretly working on his fine and gross motor skills and his concentration”
Parent of 4 year old student

"I like the pilates games and doing all the challenges. My favourite is the plank - being still like a crocodile and balancing with balls like a flamingo”
Student aged 8

“I like using the bands to stretch, rolling up and down like a caterpillar”
Student aged 7

"Kate has taught me the intermediate repertoire using the balls, bands and rollers. I feel stronger in my core and this is helping me in my ballet classes"
Student aged 15
