Motivate to move
This is a  Pilates muscle and mind workout for children aged  4-12. It is a special programme that I designed for neuro-diverse children but open to all who like more structure - like me!

Taught using highly motivating resources such as specialist toys, games, songs and visual cues, these sessions adapt the classical mat exercises for children with additional needs.

Through the Animals Move book, children copy the animals by bending, balancing, stretching and rolling. Using balls and bands, children improve  posture, alignment, core, flexibility, coordination, balance and strength.

These sessions are fun and really work!

Obviously all children are welcome in any of the groups I teach as all of my classes are inclusive. However, if this style of learning sounds like it would suit your child please contact me for more information.

“Kate has taught her Pilates programme Motivate to Move in our autism provisions for over 2 years and the children absolutely love it. She is highly skilled in engaging and motivating children on the spectrum. Her lessons are structured but great fun. I highly recommend her for any child but particularly if your child struggles with attention, social skills,  well-being or strength with fine and gross motor skills.”

Kat Flynn Head Teacher of CHS and CPS Autism Provisions
